You can take Road Stop #1, Road Stop #2, Road Stop #3 individually or all 3 trainings!

Road Stop #1 

9/28/27 from 9-5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) 

This is a one day stand alone class 

(lunch on your own)

Cost: $225 *Includes a professionally printed workbook.

Once you’ve completed the 40-Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training you will need to learn the nuts and bolts of setting up your practice: including naming it, deciding your location, client consultations, invoicing clients and how to get clients. You will need to know how to market your mediation services via word of mouth, internet, websites and community outreach. You will create a plan for yourself and your practice. Marla & Marsha will teach you how to do the above tasks as well as review your specific plan. This will get you from the 40 hour training to taking your first client, need to know more check out Road Stop #2!  

Road Stop #2 

9/29/27 AND 9/30/27 from 9-5pm each day Eastern Standard Time (EST) 

This is a stand alone class

The number one request Marla & Marsha receive is how to write mediation documents. Marla &  Marsha will teach you how to write a mediation contract, how to write intake forms & notes, and how to write the divorce paperwork required by the court. They will also provide example contracts and documents. Bring your computer you will be writing your own contract and practice drafting agreements! What do you do after your write everything…you E-file it with the court don’t worry they will teach you how to set up your E-file account too! 

Road Stop #3 

10/1/27 from 9-3pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) 

This is a stand alone class

(lunch on your own)

Cost: $222

Participants will practice being a Mediator while Marla & Marsha observe ,evaluate and provide feedback.

Registration Deadline: No refunds will be given after 9/1/2027. No exceptions. The deadlines for registration are strictly enforced due to overhead cost, materials and rental space. 

Trainers for all 3 Road Stops: Marla Hylton MSW, LCSW, Mediator & Marsha Hackenberg JD, Mediator

Pre-requisite for all classes: Participants must have completed an ACCREDITED 40-Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training.

CMEs: There are no Continuing Mediation Education Hours offered for the Mediation Map Trainings.

Cancellations/refunds policy: (All classes are in-person only). If you cancel your registration before the registration deadline you will be fully refunded. No make-up time will be offered for the Mediation Map Trainings, no exceptions. If you miss the training or a portion of the training you will not be able to make it up. If a participant needs to cancel their registration after the deadline registration it is the Trainers decision if a participant can transfer their registration to the following year. Trainings are not guaranteed to occur. If class attendance prevents the training from happening the following year you will NOT be transferred to the following year and you will not be refunded. Transfers are only possible for one year per the Trainers discretion.
