'Mediation Map' Training

Exciting news!!

The GAP training has been updated to accommodate the specific needs of Mediators. We have taken all the components of the GAP training and divided them into individual classes. And we have added a practice mediation class where participants will have the opportunity to role play a whole mediation start to finish-unlike the role plays in the 40 hour training! 

The great news is you can take one class or all 3!

If you left the 40 Hour Mediation Training feeling unprepared to start mediating any and all of these classes are for you!

Dates/Times: (All classes are in-person only). There is no make-up time offered for the Mediation Map Classes. If you miss a class or a portion of the class you will not be able to make it up.

Class/Road Stop #1 

8/18/2026 from 9-3pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) (lunch on your own)

This is a stand alone class 

Cost: $199

Registration Deadline: No refunds will be given after 7/18/2026. No exceptions. The deadlines for registration are strictly enforced due to overhead cost, materials and rental space. 

Once you’ve completed the 40-Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training you will need to learn the nuts and bolts of setting up your practice: including naming it, deciding your location, client consultations, invoicing clients and how to get clients. You will need to know how to market your mediation services via word of mouth, internet, websites and community outreach. You will create a plan for yourself and your practice. Marla & Marsha will teach you how to do the above tasks as well as review your specific plan. This will get you from the 40 hour training to taking your first client, need to know more check out Class #2!  

Class/Road Stop #2 

8/19/26 AND 8/20/26 from 9-5pm each day Eastern Standard Time (EST) (lunch on your own)

This is a stand alone class

Cost: $399

The number one request Marla & Marsha receive is how to write mediation documents. Marla &  Marsha will teach you how to write a mediation contract, how to write intake forms & notes, and how to write the divorce paperwork required by the court. They will also provide example contracts and documents. Bring your computer you will be writing your own contract and practice drafting agreements! What do you do after your write everything…you E-file it with the court don’t worry they will teach you how to set up your E-file account too! 

Class/Road Stop #3 

8/21/25 from 9-3pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) (lunch on your own)

This is a stand alone class

Cost: $250

Participants will complete a mediation start to finish while Marla & Marsha observe, evaluate and provide constructive feedback. To ensure Marla and Marsha can give participants individualized attention this class is limited to 3 participants. Once the class fills, registration for the bundle price will be closed.

Interested in all 3 classes? Wonderful the classes are set back to back so you can easily attend all 3 classes for a reduced rate of $799!
