Marla Hylton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mediator. She is the owner of Calico Counseling and provides therapy to individuals and couples in Carmel, IN. In addition to providing therapy services Marla also practices mediation. Marla completed the 40 Hour Mediation Training in 2012 with Janet Mitchell. She went on to be an active participant in teaching mediation in 2014 and starting teaching the psychological portion of the training in 2015. Starting in 2016 she taught the 40 Hour Training with another trainer and has done so 1-2 times a year ever since. She also teaches the psychological portion of the 40 hour Mediation Training through ICLEF. Marla and Marsha have created and taught an advanced 3-day training to help Mediators start practicing over 3 times. They have also created and hosted an annual retreat for Mediators. Marla has presented Mediation at countless lunch and learns, Employee Assistance Programs, Butler University, Depauw University and conferences throughout Indiana.

Marsha Hackenberg is an Attorney and Mediator. Marsha Hackenberg obtained her Law Degree (J.D.) graduating Cum Laude in 2001. In addition to her legal practice Marsha is also a Professional Mediator, Guardian ad Litem, Parenting Coordinator, Trained Child Inclusive Mediator and a trained Collaborative Professional. Marsha owns Hackenberg
Marsha Hackenberg is an Attorney and Mediator. Marsha Hackenberg obtained her Law Degree (J.D.) graduating Cum Laude in 2001. In addition to her legal practice Marsha is also a Professional Mediator, Guardian ad Litem, Parenting Coordinator, Trained Child Inclusive Mediator and a trained Collaborative Professional. Marsha owns Hackenberg Law, PC, and Hamilton County Mediators located in Noblesville, Indiana.
Her formal mediation education includes the 40 Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training, three separate 16 Hour Advanced Mediation Courses through the ABA, the 40 Hour Understanding Based Mediation Model Training, 24 Hours of Child Inclusive Mediation Training and numerous additional trainings through the AFCC and APFM. Marsha has been formally mediating since 2019.
Marsha has been teaching the 40 Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training with Marla Hylton, since 2022, teaching two classes each year.

40-HOUR DOMESTIC RELATIONS MEDIATION TRAINING-CARMEL, IN 2025

Requirements:
This 40-hour training will enable participants with a Bachelor’s Degree to become an Indiana Supreme Court Registered Mediator. This class is open to Attorneys, Therapists and Professionals with a Bachelor’s Degree.

April 16, 17, 18 AND 24 & 25, 2025.
Time:
The training is from 8-5:30pm daily
*Class times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)-Indiana Time.
*Mandatory attendance: You must attend all dates and times in order to complete the training. Please contact Marla Hylton with questions regarding attendance.

the Indiana Supreme Court Mediator Registry.
